Leading spine surgeons Dr. Douglas Won and Dr. Michael Rimlawi of the Dallas-based Minimally Invasive Spine Institute will offer free scoliosis screenings this Saturday, June 27, for Dallas-area residents in conjunction with June’s National Scoliosis Awareness Month. An estimated seven million people in the United States live with scoliosis, an abnormal curvature in the spine that can affect infants, adolescents and adults. If left untreated, scoliosis can eventually lead to chronic back pain and impact heart and lung functions. During the free screenings, parents will have an opportunity to discuss new, state-of-the-art treatment options specific to their child’s situation.

The free Scoliosis screenings will be Saturday, June 27th, 8 a.m. to noon at the Forest Park Medical Center (11990 North Central Expressway Dallas, TX 75243).

To schedule an appointment for a free screening, call toll-free (888) 593-7672. Appointments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. More information at ZeroSpinePain.com
